- Tuar Daal- 1 Cup
- Chana Daal- 1/2 Cup
- Chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves
- Red Chili Powder- 1/2 Tsp
- Salt (to taste)
- Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tbsp
- 2 Dry Red Chili
- Cumin Seeds- 1 tbsp
- 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- Kasuri Methi- 1/2 tbsp
- Garam Masala Powder- 1/4 tbsp
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 2 Chopped Green Chili
- Oil- 4 tbsp
- 2 Chopped Onion
- Coriander Powder- 1/2 tbsp
Ingredients for Tadka:
- Ghee- 4 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder- 1/4 Tsp
- Heeng (for taste)
- Kasuri Methi- 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds- 1Tsp
- Fried Onions- 4 Tsp
- 1 Dry Red Chili
- Kasuri Methi- 1/2 Tsp
First of all, Wash the Daal well with water now take a Cooker and put daal and now add some salt, turmeric powder, and Chopped tomato and some 1/4 tsp chopped ginger, green chili, and some Water and cook it for 2-3 whistles.
Now take a pan on normal flame and add some Ghee and now add some cumin seeds Dry red chili, chopped onion some, green chili, ginger, and saute for 3-4 minutes until onion becomes golden brown.
now add red chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and add Daal into this and cook for 5-10 minutes and add some Kasuri methi and some Fresh Chopped coriander leaves.
For Tadka take a pan on normal heat and add 4 tbsp of ghee and add some dry red chili, cumin seeds, Heeng, kasuri methi, 1/4 tsp of red chili powder and add some fried onions.
when you eat this Daal Tadka you can add some tadka over it.
Finally, Dhaba style Daal Tadka is ready as a result. Serve it Hot and eat this with jeera rice and Chapati. Try this at Home…
